In just a few weeks, Phoenix will pass a new milestone - 10 years serving Capitol Hill and the greater Seattle community. Normally around this time we like to celebrate with a comic book signing, some free comic books, and a special store-wide sale. And we’re still gonna do that! But Phoenix is more than just comics. So for our 10 year anniversary, we’d like to dedicate the whole month to a celebration of every aspect of the store. We’ve got a lot planned, and we hope you’ll join us for every part of this that speaks to you!
March is here and April's just around the bend! It's time for some new comic reviews and recommendations! This month, we've got a cake-based murder mystery, some supernatural and science fiction horror, and a smattering of other fun stories for you.
February’s almost over and March is hot on its heels. We’ve got a good half-dozen books to look at this month, courtesy of Sloane, Nick, and Selena. This month features multiple tales of science-fiction, a new horror story, and a fantasy tale that’s ties the problems we face in today’s world to a faraway land. Not to mention a couple of delightful one-shots that are worth a ready and also a special order or two. Read on and check them out!
New Year, new comics and we're already looking ahead to February. Look with us past this dreary wet January, and let's take a look at what upcoming books Sloane, Selena, and Nick have found for you.
Here we are, the last month of 2022. It’s been a heckuva year, full of ups and downs. Opportunities and setbacks alike. Before the year really folds up, I’d like to take a moment for some public introspection. What do I think we did right? What could we be doing better? And from that introspection, I’d like to chart a course for the new year ahead.
