We're almost out of Innistrad, but before we go, we've got one final twist - a monster mash-up! Innistrad Double Feature brings you a draft environment with a little bit of Midnight Hunt and a little bit of Crimson Vow, all mushed together in a grayscale / black and white frame. Innistrad Double Feature Preview Information

Let's start with the event details, shall we? Innistrad Double Feature preview events will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, January 21-23. We're hosting 3 drafts, each with a capacity for 24 people. Links to each event (with times) are below:

Those of you joining us for these events will receive a free bonus Endless Ranks of the Dead promo!

Now, ordinarily we'd have put this information out there way earlier, but we held off on allowing preregistration for these events due to the current surge in Covid case counts. After consultation with our team, we believe we can safely host these draft events in smaller quantities as long as proper respect and diligence is paid to each player's safety and conduct during the event.

If you've got more questions about our ongoing efforts to maintain the safety of our events, here's a link to our Covid response blog.

What's in Double Feature?

Like the opening paragraph suggests, Innistrad Double Feature is a mashup in the style of an old black and white grind house movie marathon. Packs of Double Feature will contain a mix of Innistrad Crimson Vow and Innistrad Midnight Hunt. Here's a full breakdown of what should come in each pack:

  • 4x Innistrad: Midnight Hunt commons
  • 4x Innistrad: Crimson Vow commons
  • 2x Innistrad: Midnight Hunt uncommons
  • 2x Innistrad: Crimson Vow uncommons
  • 1x Innistrad: Midnight Hunt rare or mythic rare
  • 1x Innistrad: Crimson Vow rare or mythic rare
  • 1x Silver screen foil card

Unlike their separate sets, the cards found in Double Feature will be all black and white, evoking the "eternal night" theme found on certain cards in Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow. In addition, you'll get one card per pack that has a special "silver screen" foiling process.

What is a silver screen foil card? It's a card with black-and-white artwork printed as a traditional foil using a special silver substrate, then finished with a glossy varnish like the showcase eternal night cards you already know from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt and Innistrad: Crimson Vow.
