Hey there Phoenix Friends! Join us to celebrate the book birthday of local cartoonist Colleen Frakes' new middle grade graphic novel, Knots! Like any kid's birthday party we'll have snacks and entertainment.

In Knots, a new semiautobiographical graphic novel from award-winning cartoonist Colleen Frakes, Norah must navigate not just her foiled dreams of blond hair but also the tangled mess her family has become. Colleen will be reading excerpts from the book, and we're hoping to have a projector to help folks read along as well! Afterwards Colleen will be signing copies of her work and we'll have snacks and cupcakes to celebrate.
