Wilds of Eldraine Commander Party Details

What is a commander party? Simply put - it's a semi-structured commander night with a set themed twist. It's free to play, and you get a cool promo just for participating! 

So if you're interested, here are the dates / time information you'll need to participate:

• Date: Friday, September 15th
• Time: 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Format: Commander!

Commander Party Special Rules

Every Commander Party is different. With Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle Earth, we told the saga of the ring. During the Phyrexian saga, we participated in the war against New Phyrexia (or joined them in glistening compleatnessss). With Wilds of Eldraine - we're going to tell a story!

Here's the setup:

Each table will get a deck of story cards and one story setup. These cards will start on the right side of the board (where it says "the End") and be slowly flipped over to tell the story of this particular game. As each card is flipped over, different effects will start to apply to the battlefield. If the deck runs out of cards, reshuffle and start over. 

Unlike previous commander parties, this one doesn't have a specific time limit. So players are welcome to join the event as they like, play as long as they like, and have fun! The participation promo will be given out to everyone who signs into the event via their Magic companion app.
